It was inevitable, but Barnes & Noble's little Android-powered eReader has found a home inside a car, with the rooted eReader transformed into a in-dash entertainment device. At a relatively low price, and basically limitless possibilities, the NOOKcolor takes the place of a conventional stereo, allowing you stream music or surf the web in your car and on the cheap. It's an impressive DIY job, but we somehow doubt the aftermarket will embrace it. Oh, and if you're wondering if you can get navigation ported to the Nook, you're in luck, TetherGPS has an app that wirelessly connects to the eReader.
